I wanted to share with you the most touching thing that was introduced to me; it is an organization that deals with what is so close to my heart, pets. I have a pug, who is my baby, and Im such a dog person. I think pets are a true blessing in our lives. So when I can across Carol Bonnie Poirier and her work with the nonprofit organization, Peaceful Planet Pets I was so excited to be a part of it in any way I can.

Peaceful Planet Pets Ministry for People and Their Pets provides a variety of services to our community, including:

- Pastor pet sitting which helps keep pets home when their guardians are too ill to care for them.

- Being present at a clinic to comfort the bereaved, and providing support during surgery or euthanasia.

As we become more and more connected to the animals with whom we share our homes, issues of illness and death become greater matters of the heart. If you are looking to hire me as your pet sitter, know that I will care for your pet with the services any other qualified pet sitter provides; however, I always bless your pets before leaving your home each visit, I provide Reiki for those pets who are stressed with their loved ones on vacation or who are ill and may be away in a hospital or recovering in their own homes and it allows us to create a bond for those life-cycle needs that are a part of our daily lives.

The Woman Behind Peaceful Planet Pet: Carol Bonnie Poirier

My name is Carol Bonnie Poirier and I have a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Science in Clinical Hypnotherapy. Most folks call me Bonnie or Pastor Bonnie. I am, by training, a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Angel Healer, Holistic Health Practitioner, Reiki Master/Teacher and, since June 1994, an Ordained Minister with Church of Peace in Christ. I am also a long-time active member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Mandeville, Louisiana. I’ve been involved professionally in holistic health since 1993 as owner of The Holistic Therapy Center, LLC. I am a hobby photographer and abstract artist. I also work in the local public school system. I am happily married with three beautiful, active children.
